Dr. Brian Reiter grew up on a farm with a close-knit family of 10 in Hillsboro, MO and still calls Hillsboro his home today. A graduate of the University of Missouri, School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Reiter started this practice in 1998 and has been a driving force for the team of professionals at Bentley Animal Hospital. Although he is passionate about everything he does, his work with dentistry and routine surgeries tend to be his favorite. Dr. Reiter is a very goal-driven and hardworking individual and he is constantly encouraging all of his employees to excel in everything that they set out to do as well as making them feel like family. When Dr. Reiter isn't in the office, he enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his family: his wife, Kay, and their three kids, Emily, Matt, and Michael. The family also includes Gibson the black lab, Ace the Draathar Dog (also known as Acelyn Von Buschensmacher), and Tigger the tabby cat.
Dr. Wirt grew up on a cattle farm in Iowa and is a graduate of Iowa State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Animal Science in 2005 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine since 2009. Dr. Wirt shares her home with her 3 pugs Nieko, King, and Kong, and sometimes more as she is a foster parent for not only dogs, but children too! In her spare time Dr. Wirt lends a helping hand not only to the Girl Scout Organization, but other non-profit organizations as well. She also loves taking any chance to travel! Dr. Wirt's favorite thing about being a veterinarian is meeting clients and building relationships with people and of course their pets!
